Throw with Me

Pottery Wheel Classes:

These classes are for beginners as well as experienced potters.  I will teach beginners the techniques to throw cups and bowls and really anything you wish. If you would like to work on your own, you certainly may.  

There are SEPARATE classes for kids (ages 9-15) and "Adults" (ages 16 and up).  Classes only have 8 spots to ensure that adequate instruction and attention is given.  The classes are at my art studio, Creative Minds Arts Studios in Collierville, TN.  

Everyone will receive up to 4 lbs of clay per class.  Most beginners can expect to throw 1-2 pieces that are good enough to keep after practice. You will have your choice of colored glazes to be fired/glazed by me and picked up in 2 weeks (we use low fire clay and glaze). You may purchase additional clay with glazing/firing for $2 per pound.   

I supply everyone with aprons, however, it may be helpful if you brought a towel from home.

- Classes are non-refundable.  You may call to reschedule a class or you can reschedule online.  

- Only 8 in a class.  

- Clay will come out of your clothes with water.

- Long hair should be tied back during class.
